Answers to the questions most commonly asked about our Edge Glow Aquarium.
The Blue and Green LEDs are controlled via the same switch whilst the white is controlled separately. You can therefore run the white and blue/green together, or individually depending on personal preference.
After you have completed your maintenance you can reset the Aquaflash reminder by turning off the power to the aquarium via the aquarium transformer for at least 10 seconds.
Once power is returned to the aquarium the Aquaflash will have been reset to alert you after 28 days.
As long as the main aquarium power supply is not disrupted during the 28 days, the Aquaflash reminder will not be disturbed by turning on/off the Blue and Green LEDs & also the main White LED.
The plant used in the waterfall filter should be an aquatic plant as it will need to live partly submerged in water.
You will need to use cleaning materials designed specifically for use with an acrylic aquarium. These come in many forms such as: magnetic cleaning blocks, soft cloths or sponges.
Make sure not to introduce any gravel or substrate onto the cleaning tool as this could scratch the acrylic.
Your filter cartridges should be replaced every 28 days as per the Aquaflash reminder.
Sets of 2 cartridges can be purchased via your aquatic retailer (product code: 51545).
The aquarium will weigh roughly 23kg when full, however this weight will vary slightly depending on the substrate, décor, rocks and plants used in the aquarium.
