Interpet, a leading manufacturer of aquarium products, today announced the launch of its new Aqua Smart Bluetooth Aquarium LED lighting range. This innovative product is the first of its kind to offer a variety of smart features, including Bluetooth connectivity, adjustable LED output and intensity, and pre-set lighting programmes.
The Aqua Smart Bluetooth Aquarium LED is the perfect replacement for customers’ old fluorescent lighting, as fluorescent tube lighting is no longer available in the UK. LED lighting offers a number of advantages over fluorescent lighting, including:
- Energy efficiency: LED lights use up to 90% less energy than fluorescent lights, saving customers money on their energy bills.
- Longer lifespan: LED lights have a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours, while fluorescent lights have a lifespan of only 10,000 hours.
- Better light quality: LED lights produce a brighter, direct light source than fluorescent lights.
- Safer for the environment: LED lights do not contain mercury, which is a hazardous material found in fluorescent lights.
The Aqua Smart Bluetooth Aquarium LED is also the first aquarium LED to offer Bluetooth connectivity with the ability to group multiple units together. This allows customers to control their lights using the Aqua Smart app, which is available for both iOS and Android devices. With the app, customers can adjust the LED output and intensity, create pre-set lighting programmes.
The Aqua Smart Bluetooth Aquarium LED is available in five sizes, from 38cm to 143cm, and comes with adjustable end caps. It is suitable for freshwater, tropical, and saltwater aquariums, and is ideal for saltwater fish-only aquariums.
